Dr Swinscoe trained in medicine at Leicester University as a graduate having been a podiatry university lecturer and diabetic foot lead clinician, involving teaching at home and abroad.
Having decided to change tack he switched to medicine, doing his hospital training in Leicester hospitals and completing his GP training in Leicester and Loughborough. Dr Swinscoe worked as a GP in Nottingham for 5 years before joining Park View Surgery in 2017. He works Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
He is a GP trainer and involved in medical undergraduate teaching in the practice.
Dr Swinscoe is married with two children, enjoys skiing, cycling, watching Nottingham Forest as a season ticket holder and he is involved in grass roots football. Other interests include reading, military history and spending time with his friends and family.
