Dr Jillyan Ford

Dr Ford grew up on the south coast of England but trained at Nottingham University, qualifying in 2003. She had training jobs in Derby and Nottingham and then completed her GP training in the Nottingham area, working in both the inner city and the leafy suburbs.

Dr Ford joined the practice in 2007 and became a partner in 2013 working Tuesdays and Fridays. She is the practice lead for women’s health, family planning and sexual health and is able to fit contraceptive coils. She is also interested in drug and alcohol misuse management and diabetes.

When she is not working at the practice Dr Ford looks after her two small boys and enjoys meeting up with other mums for coffee and helping run her local church toddler group. She also loves reading and going to the cinema when she gets the chance!
