Appointments

To request an appointment for today (Monday to Friday)

Our appointments are released each day at 8:30am so please call us on 01509 230717

You can also book an appointment online using Systmonline

For non urgent queries you can submit an e-consultation form by clicking here and we will respond within two days.

When you get in touch, our team will ask for some further detail about what you need help with.

We will use the information you give us to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or health professional to help you.

Your appointment

However you choose to contact us we may offer you a consultation:

  • by phone
  • face to face at the surgery
  • on a video call
  • by text or email.

Appointments by phone, video call or by text or email can be more flexible and often means the doctor or nurse can help you sooner.

Home visits

Please try to inform the surgery by 10.00am if you think you require a home visit. This helps us to plan our work and allow us to make the best use of our time for the benefit of all our patients.

Cancelling or changing an appointment

If you need help when we are closed

If the situation is an emergency or life threatening, dial 999 and ask for an ambulance.

For urgent medical advice between 6.30pm and 8.30am weekdays, or during weekends and Bank Holidays, use NHS 111.

For children under 5 phone 111.

For people aged 5 and over go to the 111.nhs.uk website.

If you need help with your appointment

Please tell us:

  • If there’s a specific doctor, nurse or other health professional you would prefer to respond.
  • If you would prefer to consult with the doctor or nurse by phone, face-to-face, by video call or by text or email.
  • If you need an interpreter.
  • If you have any other access or communication needs.
  • Chaperones – If you feel you would like a trained chaperone to be present during a consultation or for an intimate examination, we will do our best to make one available. Before any intimate examination you should be offered a chaperone, if this is not the case please make your wishes known.

Extended access appointments

Depending on your individual circumstances and symptoms, we may offer you an ‘extended access’ appointment. These are appointments provided outside of normal surgery hours, after 6:30pm and at weekends. Please note however, that these appointments will not be in your usual GP practice and may not be with one of your usual GPs or nurses. They are a mix of telephone and face-to-face appointments which will be confirmed with you on booking.

Depending on the reason for your appointment, and if you are in agreement, it may be suitable for you to see an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, instead of a GP.

The clinician you see will be able to access relevant sections of your medical notes and will communicate what has happened during your appointment back to your usual GP practice.

These appointments will be available at the following locations:

  • Rosebery Medical Centre, Loughborough
  • Coalville Community Hospital
  • The Centre Surgery, Hinckley

If you would like to know more please speak to a member of practice team.
